This page explains what cookies glorycasino.net uses, why we use them, and how you can control them. It complements our Privacy Policy details, which covers personal data more broadly.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored by your browser when you visit a website. They let the site remember things between page loads (like your language preference) and let us understand how the site is used in aggregate. Cookies can't read other files on your device, can't run programs, and don't carry viruses.
Cookies we use
1. Strictly necessary cookies
These keep the site functional. Without them basic things break — language switching, accordion FAQ memory, the bonus popup dismissal preference.
popupDismissed— sessionStorage flag, remembers if you closed the welcome bonus popup so it doesn't reappear during your visit. Clears when you close the tab.lang_pref— remembers if you picked en-BD or bn-BD. 30-day lifetime.
These cannot be disabled. They're set the moment you load the site.
2. Analytics cookies
We use a minimal analytics setup to understand which pages get read, where visitors come from, and what's broken. We do not run ad-retargeting pixels, behaviour profiling or cross-site tracking.
- Server-side aggregate analytics — no client cookies, no fingerprinting
- Page view counters via nginx access logs (IP-anonymised after 30 days)
If we add a tag like Plausible or self-hosted Matomo in future, that will appear here with full details.
3. Marketing / affiliate cookies
When you click a CTA button (e.g. "Sign up", "Claim bonus") you're sent to Glory Casino through our affiliate tracking link. The destination site (Glory + their affiliate network) sets cookies for attribution — those cookies are governed by their privacy policy, not ours.
We don't set retargeting cookies ourselves and don't sell our visitor data.
Cookies set by third parties
Outbound links on this site (GamCare, Gamble Aware, gaminglicences.com registry, social media) lead to sites that set their own cookies once you arrive. Their policies apply on their domains, not on glorycasino.net.

Blocking strictly-necessary cookies will break the site's basic functionality (language switcher, popup memory). Blocking analytics cookies is fine — we built the site to work without them.
Private / Incognito mode
Browsing in private mode keeps cookies session-only. Closing the tab deletes them. This is the simplest way to use the site without any persistent storage.
Do Not Track
If your browser sends a Do Not Track header, we respect it. Our minimal analytics already doesn't profile individuals, so DNT changes nothing material for our setup, but we document the position for clarity.
Children
This site is 18+ only. We don't knowingly collect cookies or any data from minors. If you believe a minor has accessed the site, please contact [email protected].
Updates to this policy
When we change cookie use we update this page and the "Last updated" date above. Material changes (adding analytics provider, adding a marketing pixel) get noted in the changelog below.
